28th April 2010 BRITAS NATURAL ABILITY TRIAL
BRITA as the first of B pups took her natural ability trail today, and out of 10 dogs finished at a great second place. She was evaluated as a bitch of great hunting abilities, with a firm point. The table is on her webpage in the puppies section

Anny received her birthday present with a small delay - CERTIFICATE OF A SLOVENIAN CHAMPION arrived today - she is now officially the beauty queen of 4 countris, multichampion :-)

All pups of the B litter underwent the spring examination, and there are is no fault in any of them - all have perfect teeth, skeleton, coat,... Perfect Grey Ghosts just as they were created :-)

18th April 2010 OUR GREAT "EXPECTING" MUM ANNY
New pics in Annys PHOTOGALLERY at the 6th week gestation. Her belly is growing together with Annys beauty. Even with that "handicap" she managed to do a number of great pheseant points, my best girl.

26.2.2010 MATING
Today we set off to make some serious pups, hopefully :-)) Everything went smoothly, without problems so fingers crossed! If all goes well pups should be born around 1st May.
14.2.2010 LITTER C
The result of the DKK (hip screening) of the sire of our litter C - Brix - arrived today.
Although pictures were taken at the end of last year when he was already over 4years old, results are negative on both sides!

6-7.2.2010 DUOCACIB BRNO
Two day show took place in Brno this weekend. A show all the more important for us since three of our puppies from litter B did a great job in representing our kennel (enering youngsters at the age of nine months and one week.
The show was a big success, Bart and Bruk gained EXCELLENT on both days (Brooke V1,CAJC, V2; Bart V2, V2), Brita gained very good on Saturday, but Im sure she will do better next time.
Bart and Brita had their show premiere, Bruk is a show model already which she proved again gaining V1, CAJC on Saturday and setting off to gaining Czech Juniorchampion at the age of nine months!
I am all the more proud of the success (altough showing the pups was hard work at some points :-) since Silver Ghosts pups were shown among mostly English competition, proving the quality of our kennell.

The decision of father of litter C is here, the choice is Brix Šedý Rebel, very talented and temperament dog of czech breed with excellent working results - continuing in the high standart of our litters - and also appearance.

2.1.2010 BART Šedý Duch SCHOOLTIME
Bart, puppy from litter B enjoyed a lovely walk with the rest of our dog family today. He is no longer the little pup, but growing into a big boy :-)
He fitted in perfectly, immediately playing with his mum Anny and Zala, our wirehaired viszla. Since showtime is drawing near we began to try to work on his posture and some basic commands.

6.12.2009 BRUK Šedý Duch STARS AT HER FIRST INTERNATIONAL SHOW
Brooke Victoria Šedý Duch has stepped into her mums show success feet. In Nitra, Slovakia, she was shown in pupppies class. She won her class but above that, beat all of the 32 girls from the whole show and received Best In Show Puppy, Nitra 2009.

7.-8.11.2009 ANNY AND HER BEAUTY WEEKEND
Anny spent the weekend with her weim pals from Monvi Salvia kennel (including Morti).
Te weekend was very very succesful, Anny finished her championship of another, already fourth country (winning her class on Saturday and Sunday) but above that also finished her INTERCHAMPION title!!!

11. 10.2009 WORLD DOG SHOW, BRATISLAVA
The biggest show of the world was very full of events, friends and of course dogs :-)) Anny was shown in chmapion class and gained an EXCELLENT!

Biggest words of praise have to go to Trapp and Karel, who succesully finished Knoll and Podhajsky Memorial. They survived the stress and requirements.

5.9.2009 FIRST PUPPY IN THE SHOW RING
First puppy from the B litter was shown today. Bruk Šedý Duch received a "Very Promising", Best Puppy of the Breed and words of praise as the best presented dog at the show. A big congratulations to Bruk and Bara, who showed her, for more info and pictures see HERE.
23.8.2009 PUPS REUNION
After 2 months I saw a part of the litter B again - Barry and Bruk Šedý Duch came for a visit. It was a beautiful afternoon full of games a big thanks to the new owners who came over.

18.7.2009 TĚŠANSKÝ POHÁR, Annys return after maternity leave :-)
On Saturday, Tesansky Cup took place (water test). Since Anny is in unbelievable form and I cant look at those sad eyes whever I go off with other dogs any longer, I decided to enter her again (we took part last year).
Altogether 29 dogs were enterd, out of which 8 were weims. Only 4 dogs gained full marks, the great news is that 3 of them were weimaraners and one was Anny!! Morti was the other - winning the whole competition. Anny made my day, it was a pleasure watching her and I guess for a first time I actually enjoeyd the test. A "special" competition for the fastest dog took place at the end - the fastest swimmer - which was won by Assantea led by Karel.

19.6.2009 END and BEGINNING
What seemed unbelievable two months ago has become reality. The pups will run off to their new homes tomorrow, only brown Bart will stay with us a week longer.
The weather hasnt been greatest for the last few days neverthless last photos of them all have been added, together with best wishes in their new homes. We tried to give the pups all the best, future will show how succesful weve been.
Ill miss you my sliver ghosts, time just few by with you lot around...
13.6.2009 BRITA and a small surgery
Brita (pink girl) had a small exomphalos, but shes a brave girl and our vet the best so in the afternoon she was already running around in the garden with the rest (new photos have been added). Before shell be off to her new home therell be no sign of stiches.
11.6.2009 PUPPIES - big night out
When we try to take the pups in every evening, their loud disapproval is getting stronger so we gave in and let them stay out - they blissfully slept all night.
Anny has finally let the pups play with Trapp, who adores the little ones!
10.6.2009 THE VET
All the pups have been vaccinated and throughly checked. All of them are great!
7.6.2009 HORACEK VISIT (Fergus owners)
A sign of relief, but of no surprise to us - of course :-) - Mirek Horacek was absolutely taken back by the pups. The litter is really nice, all the pups underwent his carefull eye and the verdict is excellent.

First puppy opened its eyes today - the pink girl, but the others wont be far behind. I will add photos and weights this evening - they are a big lot, their mum is the best after all. Ive changed the lila ribbon to red for beter identity.
Another great news concerns Trapp (Kalasz Zoldmali, Hungarain Wirehaired Viszla, www.satava.cz) who took part in the nomination runs for The Richard Knoll Memorial. He was the last to be admitted into the nomination - only 2 weeks ago. He finished in 1st price, on a great second place, which has won him a place in this years Memorial!!! (todays results 3x 1st price, 1x 2nd price and 1x 3.price, the remaining were unsuccesful) The nomination take place on the basis of last years results of all-round trials (36 dogs with the highest scores are nominated from which 20 dogs continue onto the Memorial). Trapp had the lowest score but his field work was a level above others, which leaves me wondering about the big difference of scores between the other dogs. A big congratulation to Karel and Trapp! The results is great and we are all looking forward to the Memorial!

29.4.2009 PUPPIES ARE BORN
5 pups were born today - 3 boys and 2 girls. The litter is really nice, equal by sexes and weight without any white signs or irregularities.
All of them are doingg great, the birth was quick and without any complications, more info in the PUPPIES section
25.4.2009 HEAT (8th week) .
Pictures of the mum to be are in the Photogallery.She is already living in her new "birth box". Her belly is getting rounder and rounder every day :-)) but se still keeps fit by afternoon runs in the field.
22.4.2009 BIRTHDAY.
Anny and all her siblings form litter A are a year older today. A big kiss and congratulations to them all and enjoy your birthday meal - Anny really enjoyed her birthday cake :-))
It seems like only yesterday when we were getting Felis ready for the upcoming pups and in no time Anny will be a mum herself. Time does fly by!

4.4.2009 OSTRAVA,National Dog Show, ANNY gained another CAC and has qualified for the title CZECH BEAUTY CHAMPION.
We managed to finish our title literally at five minutes to twelve, since Anny is growing a nice tummy, but has lost nothing in her grace and beauty. In the run for National Winner, she finished at a great second place :-) That was our last finished title before the pups, the rest will have to wait, there are other things to get ready for now :-)
28.3.2009 NITRACANIS, Nitra, Slovakia, ANNY gained CAC and has qualified for the title SLOVAKIAN BEAUTY CHAMPION.
Like any other mum, Anny is gaining beauty in her expected motherhood and so she managed to finish her Slovakian Champion without any problems. A big thanks to all, especially to Bara and a proud-owner of puppy to be Lukas and of course all Slovakian pals :-)
23.3.2009 ITS official, Anny is in pup. Puppies are still too small, to be able to count, but they are deffinitely there, I saw them myself :-)

15.2.2009 Anny is in heat, mating should take place at the end of February, so pups should be born at the end of April.
8.2.2009 I have finalized the dad of our net litter for ANNY. It is Fergus Akibon.
Fergus comes from the AKIBON KENNEL . He is a beautiful dog with excellent field work - I have seen him out working a number of times and his field work can only be summed up as excellent. He is very energetic and beautiful, in short the idela candidate for Anny and the best pups :-)

7.12.2008 National show in Nowa Ruda, Poland, ANNY received CWC
Although in Poland, the competitors in our class was all Czech and since it was Annys third title she has become Polish champion
It was a really succesfull day for us, since firstly Trapp (Kalasz Zoldmali - our Hungarian Wirehaired Viszla won his class, best male and best of breed (check out his pages here) and than Anny won her class and became second in best female!
28.9.2008 International Dog Show CESKE BUDEJOVICE, ANNY received CAC, Res.CACIB
One of very very few shows which we managed to squeeze into our busy autumn, full of trials and work. Anny was shown in working class in a very strong competition but won V1 CAC, res. CACIB , (Elizabeth The Queen Sirius Nova V2 Res.CAC, V3 Diamond Dolly Silver Faith). It must be said that she and Karel are a great pair
20 - 21.9.2008 Anny successfully finished International All-round trial of the Weimaraner Club in Vracov
After two days of really hard work, and tough weather condotions, Anny finished at an unbelievable second place, receiving Res.CACT and best Field Work. Her total sum of points was 480. The environment was really beautiful, plenty of pheasants and hares so it was a great opportunity to show of her pointing. The table with results is here, photos are in her photo gallery here. I am really proud of her, even more so that she managed to reach such a great result at the age of only 2 years.
26.7.2008 Anny won the Forrest trial in Svitavy
The trail took place in really beautiful forrests near Litomyšl, where this years Memorial of Karel Podhajský (top Czech competiton for dogs) will take place. The environment was great and the result the best - Anny won the trial with 238 points, the only 3 she received was from fetching the fox over the hitch. She was the only weimaraner, but she managed to beat the competition including german shorthaired and hungarian vizslas:-) The results are in Annys trial section .
20.7.2008 Anny received her first working title at the Water Trial,Těšany Cup 2008
42 dogs took part in the cup, with 9 weimaraners (7 shorthaired and 2 longhaired) and Anny finished at a great second place and received Res. CACT,the table with results (is here)
Together with the winner among weimaraners - Asa's Hunter the Pick - One and the longhaired Cyrus z Korunova Dvora they were the only weimaraners who finished in I.price - the trial was difficult, but the results is that more aprreciated.
A lot of our weimaraner and viszla friends was there so the whole day was really great fun.
30.6. 2008 - All of Annys show results have been updated here - and it was a lot, but the marathon is successfully over.
We have begun all of the beauty champions we wanted (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Austria,..) so hopefully we will finish them succesfully next season. A big thanks especially to Romča from Monvi Salvia kennel who has succesfully shown Anny when I didnt have time.
20.4.2008 World Championship, Mladá Boleslav 2008

The trial was tested according to the spring trial rules. Anny pointed only pheasants, which are not evaluated at spring trials, only partridge so she didnt score, nevertheless Anny and Karel had a great run. It was an unusual experience, tis a big shame that the trial didnot receive more support from the Czech weimaraner owners.
